Overview

A 10:2 Prayer Trip is an annual trip to the mission fields where EFM has committed to sending missionaries. Teams are asked to pray for the soil (Matthew 13:1-23) and pray for the workers (Luke 10:2). Teams are sent or guided by sponsoring regions/yearly meetings of the new EFM fields that have been leading exploration. 10:2 Prayer Trips will target appropriate communities for prayer walking and interceding that “the Kingdom come, and God’s will be done on earth as it is in heaven” in those places.

Prayer Trips may also, as needed, involve elements of further exploration, pre-launch planning, and encouragement to missionaries and workers.

Eligibility Requirements for Luke 10:2 Prayer Trips:

1. A committed Christian who is submitted to the Lordship of Jesus Christ made evident by their personal devotion and service to others and confirmed by the local church.
2. Someone with a servant’s heart who is faithful and committed to God’s work around the world.
3. Someone who is 18 years of age or older (unless accompanied by a parent) and a resident of the United States.
4. Someone who is physically and emotionally able to handle the rigor of international travel and a highly flexible schedule.
5. Someone who is willing to fundraise for the cost of the trip and participate in any required pre-trip study/orientation.
6. Someone who believes in the power of prayer and the vital part it plays in what God is doing around the world to build His church.
7.. Someone who agrees to abide by the Luke 10 trip policies.

Note: A Passport with an expiration date at least 6 months after travel dates is required.

How to Sign Up for a Luke 10:2 Prayer Trip

1. Complete online application. Please note that as a part of the application process, you will need to create a free Service Reef account.
2. Pay $150 non-refundable deposit to EFM. You can send a check or pay online here. Choose the Luke 10:2 Prayer Trip box. Please clearly mark with your name and destination country.
